The Roof Framing Calculator V3.1

The latest release of The Roof Framing Calculator V3.1 brings improvements to the way the calculator calculates the overhangs and total lengths for the common, hip and valley rafters. It now makes provisions for sub fascia and fascia thicknesses as well as any building finishes that will be applied. These measurements are now factored into the overhang projections and final rafter lengths.

You can now explicitly set the calculations for either a hip or gable roof. All displayed measurements are now in feet & inches (06/29/2008).

Last but not least the ability to choose between single and double cheek cut hips has been implement. What's up next is the ability to calculate octagons roofs (06/30/2008).
