A valley rafter is a roof framing member the travels
from the ridge to an "inside" corner of the roof. It does
so in one complete, unbroken member. When a valley intersects a corner
that is 90° it creates two 45° angles on either side of the
valley and is thus said to be a regular valley rafter. |
